Today Emily met me in th lobby of the hotel and we headed out for shopping. We went to Shibuya. I dressed in jeans and a shirt and some tennis shoes, I was going to be comfortable knowing we are going to be walking. When I get down to the lobby, the elevator door opens and Emily is there in a skirt, sweater, and heels. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I immediately felt underdressed and confused as to why she didn't learn her lesson from the other day. When we finally got to Shibuya area, I realized all the girls get dolled up. Whatever, I am foreign and comfortable. This area of town was much more reasonably priced for me, which was exciting. It was a very successful day for me for shopping for gifts for christmas. I am so excited about my purchases. Unfortunately, I can not go into detail with the gifts that I got. I just have to figure out what I am going to get the men in my lifen (Dad, Gerald, Matt, and Wes) woman are so much easier to shop for. I have two weeks left. One of the things that is really cool about Tokyo, is that gift giving is really a big deal, so they wrap the gifts for you with stickers and flowers. I won't have to wrap anything when I get back. The guy in the picture is Ohchi, he met us for about an hour on Saturday.
